version 2.0 of mircart

first off welcome to the new and improved version 2.0 of mircart! this was a long time coming and finally got around to spending a few days porting the initial design i made orginally on wordpress over to hugo. with this port and changes come many other changes that aren’t avoidable but are preventable to some degree.

somethings that still need to be ironed out:

• redirecting old links to the new locations
• titles need to be formatted correctly which if you want yours updated then you will need to send me a list and the titles you want. url will not change.
• a search function needs to still be added if being added happens. unsure if its needed right now.

there have been some new additions

• there are now grid gallery for all the images and packs and are limited to 100 ascii per page.
• the legacy map packs have their own section as before. submitted art will now be added under the art page. in the future should there be new packs and artists want them included in a specific pack then that maybe an option.
• artists all now have their own page kind of like the legacy site but now it displays all of them in a grid. there is also now a “bio” section where you can define a msg if you want.
• now we have an api. why an api? maybe you want to create a script or project that uses the data displayed here. no more do you need to scrape the site.
• there is now a draw page where you can draw ascii (thanks to jewbird) for the best god damn ascii maker in the world. there is also a radio with a couple stations. more will more than likely be added.
